Most modules have a number of settings e.g. "Number series - Invoices"

Depending on how your system was setup, this number series need to be defined for each document and for each financial year.

Please check that you have number series that are valid for the current financial year.

Note that if a numbers series does not have an End Date, then that number series will carry on forever.
