I am running Version 6.3 12-03-13.

I am depreciating an asset of value £300.00 over 3 years on a Straight Line basis with a "Start. Date 1" of 1st May 2014.
If I enter a Purchase date of 1st May 2011 the Depreciation Report run for the period 010913:310814 reports that the depreciation for the period is £300.

Running the Depreciation Maintenance routine also posts £300 depreciation for the same period.

A Purchase Date of 1st May 2012 has the depreciation report running correctly as does the depreciation routine.

I understood that only the "Start. Date 1" field affected the depreciation and not the "Purchase Date" field.

Can you tell me what the Hansa Asset module logic is please and why the Purchase Date is affecting the depreciation schedule?
