The most likely reason your App version crashes when connecting to your test server is that they are different version. Though both maybe be 7.1 they are most likely different versions. This is why, in order to have a functional version on the iPad, you will need to have the properly licensing / versioning in order to properly connect to a server. Please contact your local HansaWorld office for further details on how to go about connecting the iPad client to a server.
